# Attachments in our Textiles
## What are attachments in BYBORRE textiles?
A BYBORRE Textile is a double jersey, which means it’s built like a sandwich:
**Attachments** are stitches that come from the back to the front to connect the layers.
Attachments ensure the stability and functionality of a BYBORRE Textile and have a profound influence on textile color.
In our AO Knit Type they connect the textile layers across the whole fabric surface and can become visible on the front as an alternating pattern.
For each of your artwork layers, you can either pick one of the four back yarn colors or use two of them together (so called duo-tone). The selected back yarn color(s) become visible in the front, mixing with the front yarns.
